Definitions of key terms and concepts used throughout Roundtable.

Knights

Specialized AI experts invited to your session. Each Knight represents a different domain of expertise and participates in the discussion to provide diverse perspectives.

Moderator Brief

The background and goal for this discussion. It includes the question you want answered, key assumptions, and objectives that guide the session.

Rounds

Stages of the discussion. Each round represents a different phase where experts present positions, challenge each other, and work toward consensus.

Opening

The first stage where each expert presents their initial position on the question.

Cross-Examination

The second stage where experts challenge each other's positions through direct questioning and testing of arguments.

Convergence

Bringing different viewpoints together into a final agreement. This is the final stage where all positions are synthesized.

Decision Brief

The final report with recommendations. It contains the complete analysis, recommendations, and citations from the discussion.

Artifact

The final document produced after a session completes, including the Decision Brief and all supporting materials.

Red Team

A critical review to spot risks and weaknesses. This phase involves adversarial analysis to identify potential failures in proposed solutions.

Intake

Initial conversation to set up the discussion. The intake assistant helps you define your question and gather context before the session begins.

Launchpad

The page where you create new sessions. Here you can set up your question, select experts, and configure your discussion.

Boardroom

The main dashboard where you can see your sessions, start new discussions, and access your decision history.

Decision Log

History of all your sessions. This is where you can review past discussions, download briefs, and track your decision history.
